iv. Companies are using social media for connections to weed out un-innovative individuals (inadaptable?)
v. Blogging basics
vi. Ways to use SocMed (tweet announcement at specific people [@TwitterUser] so they will see it and can send it along to their followers)
3. Heather announced new workshops:
i. Employee or Entrepreneur? July 23, 2p;
ii. Social Media for Small Businesses. July 28, 2p;
iii. Blogging, coming in August.
iv. Experienced Worker group meets at 10 a Wednesdays at Coffee Beanery in Berkley, north of Catalpa on west side of Woodward.
4. Leadership:
i. The managers of the LinkedIn group have become unavailable due to jobs or changes in personal situations;
ii. Alex Hardesty was asked to take notes and put out group announcements and will continue to do so,
Note:
We are pretty informal, so while I picked the planned topic (Monday's was "How Do You Stay Motivated?") another relevant discussion develops and the planned one will be put off until another day.
